Many times when kids are taken from their homes due to drugs, abuse or neglect and they don’t have anything to bring or they are not allowed to bring any personal items with them. They are forced to leave the only place they have ever known, while also leaving behind everything that they call their own.
Then they are placed into a DHS facility until a family member or foster home is able to take them in. During this whole process they still only have the clothes on their backs and the few amenities that they are provided with while in DHS.
Angel Pax is a non-profit organization that provides back packs filled with items for children taken from their homes due to drugs, abuse and neglect.
